  • 20 Simple Lessons

Early Childhood uses 20 Simple Lessons, a framework for positive classroom behavior instruction. The common language and visuals enhance and reinforce character development both in the classroom and at home.
  • Daily Chapel

Children attend chapel services, which include prayer, songs and a children's lesson led by our Early Childhood and Lower School Chaplain.
  • Godly Play

A weekly enrichment for Pre-K and Bridge K, Godly Play is an outstanding method of Christian education and spiritual direction for children. Children listen to Bible stories and are encouraged to relate the stories to a personal experience.
  • Service Learning

As part of the effort to teach students to be other-focused, Early Childhood participates in school-wide service learning programs, including Project Empathy, which is a year-long endeavor to support local homeless. Early Childhood students also engage in monthly global service learning discussions with the Adera Foundation, an organization that encourages the strength of the family unit in Ethiopia.
