Saints Award 2022

Merrill Family

All Saints' Day

All Saints' Day, also known as All Hallows' Day, is a Christian celebration in honor of all the saints of the church, whether they are known or unknown. Our K-12 students will commemorate this day with a special Eucharist service.

Evelyn and Rick Merrill

Evelyn Merrill has served the greater Fort Worth community for more than 15 years in family and pediatric medicine, currently practicing at the Brown Lupton Student Health Center at TCU. Rick Merrill has dedicated much of his life to providing children and their families with preeminent healthcare through the Cook Children’s Health Care System based in Fort Worth. Amidst busy schedules, the Merrills always found time to take on numerous leadership roles at All Saints’. Evelyn volunteered in many capacities and served on the PTO Board; together they chaired the All Saints’ Fund; and Rick served on our Board of Trustees for seven years, four of those as President. Under his leadership, the School pioneered programs that elevated our value proposition such as our Early Childhood Development program and the Tad Bird Honors College. They are also current members of our President’s Council.

Most importantly, Evelyn and Rick Merrill blessed our community by entrusting us with their two daughters, Genevieve Merrill Slay '14 and Renée Merrill '16. Please join us in thanking them for their faithful service to Fort Worth and All Saints' Episcopal School.
