
Assistant Head of School Wallace Worden and Head of School Dr. Tad Bird
The All Saints' Episcopal School Board of Trustees has named Wallace Worden as the School's third Head of School to succeed Dr. Tad Bird, who has been Head of School at All Saints' for 27 years. Mr. Worden will assume Head of School responsibilities on July 1, 2025, and Dr. Bird will transition to Head of School Emeritus at that time. A Board of Trustees committee has been vetting Mr. Worden since 2023 in preparation for this important hand-off.

Wally grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Southwest High School. He attended Barry University in Miami, FL, to play soccer, and then returned home to start working as a coach and teacher. You can view Wally's CV here.
He and wife Keri have been married 21 years and they have two Lifetime Saints: Wiley '28 and Kirby '30. He's an avid hunter, fly fisherman and enjoys Friday nights at football games, Rex's or Pacific Table, and family time at his cabin outside Denver, CO. The average tenure of a school head is five years. All Saints' has been fortunate to have had the steady leadership of Dr. Bird for 27 years. In his tenure, Dr. Bird led the School through transformative measures that have elevated it from a small parish school to a premier Age 3-Grade 12 college preparatory institution. Notably, he:
The evolution of student collegiate matriculations under his leadership is also highly notable: In addition to acceptances into a range of schools from Ivy League to in-state favorites, All Saints’ senior classes on average earn $13.8M in merit scholarships with 14+ student athletes signing to play in collegiate athletic programs (14%). Dr. Bird is married to Patty and they have three children: Elizabeth, Holloway and Andrew '18. In addition to cross-country trips to Maine with family and/or his yellow lab Belle in tow, he enjoys reading, outdoor activities, landscaping, and grilling on the back patio.
