Attend Campus Events and Schedule Personal Visit with Campus Tour
We ask that you schedule a personal visit with a member of the Admission team so we can get to know you and your family. Additionally, we highly encourage you to attend our Kindergarten Admission Preview, Kindergarten Behind the Scenes and our Kindergarten Holiday Event so you are able to get a broad perspective on all our School has to offer your child.
Virtual Kindergarten Preview, October 6, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
Kindergarten Behind the Scenes, November 12, 2020 at 8:00 a.m.
Kindergarten Christmas Event, December 3, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
Submit Online Application and Teacher Recommendation
Kindergarten applicants must be five years of age by September 1 to be considered for August enrollment. The application and nonrefundable application fee of $100 must be submitted with the application. Upon receipt, confidential recommendation forms for the child’s preschool will be mailed directly to the preschool and must be submitted to complete the child’s application file.
Applying for Early Decision
For Kindergarten admission, preference is given to currently enrolled families, parishioners of All Saints’ Episcopal Church and children of alumni and faculty/staff members. These applicants who wish to apply only to All Saints’ are eligible to apply for early decision to Kindergarten. The early decision application deadline is November 6, 2020, decision notifications are sent December 11, 2020, and enrollment contracts accompanied by tuition payments are due January 22, 2021.
Apply for General Admission
For families who would be new to the School or are applying to more than one school, the application deadline is January 15, 2021. Decision notifications will be sent February 19, 2021. According to the agreement between the four schools in our Consortium, no official or unofficial decision notification will be made through verbal or written means before this date.
Kindergarten Readiness Assessment
Applicants entering Kindergarten will take the Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement Third Edition (KTEA-3 Brief) and the Kaufman Brief Intelligence Test Second Edition (KBIT-2). These tests are individually administered and are a measure of achievement in reading, math, written and oral language and verbal and nonverbal ability.
If you have indicated on your application that your child will be testing at All Saints’, we will contact you to schedule an appointment on our campus. Testing for Early Decision candidates is November-January; all other candidates will test in January and February. Students who are applying to more than one of the schools in the Fort Worth Consortium – comprised of All Saints’ Episcopal School, Fort Worth Academy, Fort Worth Country Day and Trinity Valley School – should schedule the testing at one school and request the scores be sent to the other school(s). Except under special circumstances determined by the test administrators, results are not valid if a test is administered to the student more than once within a given year.
Group Class Visit
The class visit allows us to get to know your children in a group setting. Kindergarten teachers open their classrooms to small groups of children who are engaged in a series of fun, age appropriate activities immediately following Chapel. Parents participate in an informational forum during the visit.
Early Decision Class Visit: Tuesday, November 17, from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
General Pool Class Visit: Tuesday, February 9, from 8:00-10:00 a.m.
